Trying to gauge things this way at the meter is very hit and miss unless you can ensure that the only things on are those that you are trying to measure. Otherwise one of those plug-in electricity usage monitors is a better idea. Trying to measure the electricity used by the TV when the diswasher is on for part of that time is pointless.
