We set up a standing order from our Rabo Direct Account to our INBS Regular Saver. However, Rabo will not transfer into an account in a building society, so we had to get a clearing account number from INBS to give to Rabo. Then when we set up the standing order we had to put our own account number and name as the reference on it so INBS would know what account to put it in to.
I did this a couple of months ago. I phoned INBS the week after the first standing order amount was to go in and they confirmed that it had gone into our account, so the system seemed to work.
