Hi

Does anyone have these shelving units or wardrobes? If yes are you happy with the quality? Were they hard to assemble?

Thanks

PAX wardrobes are big and heavy and relatively time-consuming to assemble, particularly if you buy the new style with the sliding doors, but no IKEA furniture is difficult to assemble. You'll definitely need two people.

Besta and Billy furniture is easy to assemble. In general, the quality of all IKEA furniture above the basic level is fine. It won't last forever, but is solid and looks good. They tend to keep most of their designs up to date.

I have Billy bookshelves in my study, really easy to put together and very strong, reasonably priced and looks great for what I want. It's a great concept.

Hi, I put 5 of the PAX wardrobes together, it's essential to have 2 people, but they look great, couldn't be happier.

I have/had had all three. Billy are good for the price but the back is a bit flimsy and started to come away presumably because of the weight of books. Have besta now, seem sturdier, back slides into slots so more secure (billy just nailed on with those tiny nails).
As for pax wardrobes, remember to get the hinges! Otherwise fine.

I also bought the PAX wardrobes, easily to put together, but would need 2 people , I also bought all the shelving units to fit inside including the pull-out trousers racks which are the topic of conversation when people see them in my wardrobes! but over all I was very impressed and couldnt belive how well finished they looked once put together! would highly reconmend
:)
