Was in work one day during the fleeting week or so that has been our summer in recent years and said to a woman 'Isn't it great weather?!' and she came straight back at me with:
'It's terrible, awful, I can't stand it, I hate it when its sunny like this and never want to go out... I can't stand the sun because its far too warm and I can't wait for it to end...'
.... and end shortly after that it did! At least she had a clear idea of what she did or didn't like.
I was in Spain during a spell of early-in-the-year good weather, running around in temperatures of 15-18c with no coat and sitting out in the sun to try and get as much as possible before returning to winterireland and was actually berated by some Spanish for not being appropriately dressed for this 'cold weather'... They just didn't get it at all when I tried to explain.
