How to trace an old Irish Nationwide Account

Is it possible to trace an account with Irish Nationwide? We have found a deposit book and want to check if it was ever closed.

Nationwide was merged into the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation (IBRC) in 2009, which was then liquidated in 2013.

The liquidation is still ongoing and you can contact the liquidator at the details below:

The deposits from Irish Nationwide transferred to PTSB before the merger into IBRC. I suggest that you contact PTSB.
