how do i turn off my hot water

can anyone tell me how to i turn off my hot water to my kitchen sink as i need to take it out. there are so many knobs in my hotpress i have no idea.

more problems...... there are two red wheels at eye level. the top one apparently is for the heating system. i turned that off and turned on the hot taps. the system drained of hot water so all seemed ok. anyhow, the bottom red wheel keeps spinning (doesnt turn on or off). is that broken? and why would the other one turn off the hot water if its for the heating?

The safest way is to pay a tradesman.

Look at your cylinder. You should see four pipes. One off the top (hot draw off) two that run parrell into the side (heating flow and return) and one that enters near bottom, this is the one you want, trace this pipe up and you should see a valve at eye level. this will turn off hot water.

If valve is broken, turn off mains, run cold bath tap and you will drain tank that feds both hot and cold water. Replace valve and turn mains on.
