hi,
i'm looking for advice for my folks on their house. They are both almost retired and have no mortgage left on their property. house is in dublin and they want to release all the equity available to enjoy their retirement. They can't seem to find any company in ireland that does home reversion i.e. company that buys 100% of your house at a reduced market value and takes ownership only on your death or from permanent convalescence. Norwish Union do this scheme in UK. My question is are there any companies in ireland that offer this servicve as it seems that the only option offered by most banks is an equity release loan with max 20% of value
