Just got offered 6 month temp contract with civil service. All good but just prior to being offered i booked holidays that i had been planning for a year. Contract is starting Start of June and hols are for start of Sept. At that stage i will just have 5 days hols worked up. What is the situation this tpye of thing. Am I even entitled to take a day as it is a contract position? I'm up in a heap over it as am delighted with job but now concerned that will lose opportunity to take this trip. I will be away from work 2 weeks and 1 day if i go away!! Please advise asap!!!!
