Hi, renewal due: 2 adults @Laya 300 Essential (€1993)+ 2 young adults on VHI One Plan 250 (€729 + 639). Have looked at possible alternatives for adults such as Laya Signify but wondering if there are now any alternatives to include all family in a single plan? Are VHI still the best for young adults? Not keen on VHI for adults due to only 60% orthopaedic coverage. Would appreciate any suggestions - Snowy B? Thanks

VHI is still best value for the young adults.

Note; Laya Signify plan has a 20% shortfall for hip and knee replacement surgery + cataract eye surgery in private hospitals.
There is no cover for Blackrock Clinic on this plan, so there is no option for a waiver of this shortfall charge which could be 2k or 3k depending
on the hospital.
So the minor savings are probably not cost effective overall.

Once again Snowyb thanks for your reply. Will likely stick to the same, though my daughter may have a look at Cornmarket as she is a teacher.
