Having to bleed radiators frequently

I have to bleed the radiators upstairs in my house very regularly. Is it because I don't have all the radiators in the house turn on. I have tried turning all on and bleeding but after a week or so the upstairs ones get cold at the top of the radiator.
 
Frequent radiator bleeding is a warning sign of a system problem.

It could a be a number of things including, a leak somewhere, or corrosion within your system (if so its not air your bleeding its hydrgoen-oxide)

You really need to get a plumber in asap to remedy this problem or it will certainly leed to bigger issues
 
Oh no, more bills I can do without.I wouldnt mind getting bigger radiators, is it an easy job and instead of black liquid coming out, clear water after system flushed would be an improvement?
 
you possibly have a leak in your heating system that needs seeing to you can purchase a soloution called sentinol leak sealer in a good plumbing suppliers you simply empty the bottle into your feed and expansion tank in your attic or if you have a sealed system the solution will have to be put into the system via a radiator this is the best way in either case as it goes straight into your system and once the solution is in just run your heating for a few hours and depending on the size of the leak it should sort it out i hope this helps
