If someone took your advice and did not transfer to the new company scheme, how would they find themselves in the position that they previously transferred in vested service from a previous scheme.
I never advised anybody to transfer to a BOB. I mentioned it here (and elsewhere) as one possibility. Obviously any individual must take responsibility for checking out all the issues that are relevant to their own specific situation and make decisions based on full knowledge of the facts.

My opinion does not matter - what matters is what most people report on their dealings with insurance companies.

Sorry - once again I cannot understand what you are trying to say or how it relates to what I have posted earlier. If you want to address specific points that I have made then please quote them verbatim because your own synopses of what you seem to think I have said seem off the wall most of the time.

I am a skeptic. I don't automatically assume that because lots of people say something that it is necessarily true. I certainly don't take the word of somebody who can't explain their argument for themselves.

Obviously every case is unique, and my comments are just general - but I hope that they were of some interest, even if you completely disagree with the points that I am making, every case is unique so any information here is just broad advice and specific cases will (of course) vary.
