I need about 15m2 of laminate.

I used Quickstep Uniclic Perspective 4 950 before, I found it excellent.

However it seems pretty dear in the republic at around 33 per metre.

I sourced it in the UK for 17 pounds per metre but they can't deliver.

Anyone recommend somewhere I can get this cheaply, ideally in the west?

OR

Anyone recommend a good quality, easy to install alternative please that is good value please?

e.g. anything any good in BTW ?

Thank you.

Hi Eamon123456,

I have just put down (not myself) a Grand Prix 12mm laminate floor - this is done by Floorwise if you google them you will find them. I am based in the southeast and purchased it from shop locally it was about E20 per sq meter - it is actually thicker than quick step which is 9 mm. I am delighted with the floor. I got whole room done including skirting for E1200 - room size is 18ft x 16 ft - I think 27square meters.

We got ours in Best Price Tiles in Ennis - and brought it to Cork!!

We put down 'hand scraped Pecan' laminate (looks like Walnut) everyone has commented on how nice it is.

Not 100% sure of the make of it but we had a leak and a big puddle of water sat on it for a week plus an entire ceiling worth of wet plaster boards and not a bother, not a mark or a bulge.

cost us apporx 13 / m3 I think but we found them the best around for price.
They also did a deal of a free solid fuel stove when you spent 2K with them, not sure if this is still running.

No affiliation with them whatsoever just a happy customer.

Have come across another product recently too that is called Duma Floor, it's 100% guaranteed waterproof. Should be available in any MD O'Shea's McMahons but no idea on the price of it.

HTH.
