Getting dog used to cat

You should go on to Irish Dogs .ie (not sure the exact web address). They are very good for animal queries. The suggestion has been made before to get a crate for the dog and leave the dog in the crate in a room with the cat for periods at a time. A very simplistic explanation but there is a more thorough one somewhere on dogs.ie.
