There are no restrictions on an EU citizen buying property.

Purchaser’s solicitor in Ireland will need reasonable assurance that source of funds are legitimate to satisfy AML requirements.

Purchaser does not need an Irish bank account if anyone tries to insist on it.

PPSN is necessary to complete transaction but takes less than a month to obtain.

Get a Personal Public Service (PPS) Number

To apply for a PPS Number, you need a basic MyGovID account. You need to upload copies of your identity document, your proof of address, and evidence of why you need a PPS Number.
