sorry if this is not the right section,
the gas company have been carrying out work on out street replacing pipework,we got a letter before work started to say that any damage to gardens or driveways would be repaired, we have a tarmac drive which it appears they started to dig and then filled in with fresh tarmac,3ft x 3ft. the repair is uneven and looks a mess,we contacted board gas and they said they would send someone out to look at it,2 weeks passed and no word, my problem is even if they dig it up again and do a nice even smooth repair its tarmac and your still going to see the repair patch,its right in the middle of our entrance.should i accept the repair even though i know im not going to be happy with it.
what would you do?
 
Complain every day to the same poor sod. The people who moan the loudest get seen first.

How can you know that you won't be happy with the repair if they haven't done the job yet?

Best to write to Bord Gais and ask them to repair the driveway as soon as possible.
