Hi guys, my question is in regards to funds but particularly the Quinn life index fund. If a fund such as the quinn life fund gives you the investor a return of say 8% after it takes its management fee, how do you really know that that is the actual return of the fund. Could it be 19% and they are only giving you 8% and pocketing the rest? Many thanks for any replies

All of Quinn Life's funds are index-tracking, i.e. they track an index of shares. So you can check the performance of the index from a source other than Quinn Life themselves and compare it to the QL fund.

It won't always be 100% accurate as they can only try their best to track a given index, but there shouldn't be too much deviation.
