Funds received from Dept of Education

We received €228 this morning from Dept of Education.

Our child just turned 3. Is this payment on top of the usual €140/ month Child Benefit?

And is it once off?

It might be the Back to School Clothing and Footwear Allowance. It's paid by Dept of Social Protection. I recall there was an issue in the past with incorrect details appearing on bank statements.

Edit - I just checked and the amount isn't right (Back to School is a minimum of 260 euro). Disregard the above

Is there a teacher in the house? Refund of fees for training courses?

No teacher in the house.
No courses attended by the parent.
We did register our child 2 weeks ago with a pre-school and completed some government ECCE pre-school form.
