Is it easy to take off the cistern lid with the push down flush button in the lid?

Do these push down buttons ever give problems and are they easy to fix?

We can use up to 5 litres of water waiting for our hot water to flow from our tank to our tap. We save this water rather than let it pour down the sink and use it to re-fill our cisterns after we flush our toilets.

Easy enough but not quick enough for what you want to do or at least I wouldn't be doing it every time to refill. With old ones you just lift it off, with the push down flush button you have to unscrew it to lift off, too fiddly in my opinion to be doing it more than occasionally.

Do these push down buttons ever give problems and are they easy to fix?

The button on good ones have a little push release making it easy to remove, albeit a two handed job.

Don't know how good or expensive you have to go to get a push release type, mine is brand new and cost 300, maybe that's cheap I don't know, I was just looking for a particular type of bowl shape inside so that dictated my choice.
