find somebodys address

I want to find a persons address, I know the town where thay live but no more. They seem to be ex-directory as regards the telephone.
I could drive to that town and look up the electoral register, but that is a days work.
Is there an easier way to find the address ?,
the electoral register doesn't seem to be available online is there a way to access it for another area without driving dwon to the post -office.

Ring the Garda station in that town , explain your predicament and after getting some verification from you they may give you the information required. Another avenue to explore the An Post delivery office in that town.
