Experience with Carpet Right?

Hi, we recently bought our first house ... with awful carpets on the stairs and the reception room which we need to replace. I read a few posts re Carpetright and many people are very happy with their service so we will possibly go with them. I just wanted to ask if anyone has had experience with them in Cork and also do they remove the old carpets or do we need to take care of this ourselves first? I'm not sure how the whole thing works. Thanks for your help.

I was happy with Carpetright's service in Cork (Mahon Point), although they forgot to sell us underlay which we then had to purchase on the day the fitters came. I think of that as a joint error though as we didn't think of it either. The service and price were all fine, but I haven't got any experiences with other carpet companies to compare it with
