We recently bought 2 x parrott handsfree car kits & a cable online from eXpansys. The remotes from the handsfree kits didn't work and the cable we were told should work was not compatible.
Anyway, we were given an RMA and sent the items back today no issue, however p&p cost me Eur 30 plus Vat as they are quite bulky. I rang eXpansys and the nice lady there advised that in the small print of their t's and c's, section 5.4 it states that they do not refund p&p costs.
This is really niggling me as the goods were faulty, she advised that I can make a case and send them a copy of the invoice but she has never seen a refund issued.
Don't think I'll be using them again.
Just a word to the wise for anyone buying 'bulky' bargains via the net this Christmas.
I assume I have no recourse under consumer rights to claim this money back, other than appealing to their good nature?
