Ok thanks for that - the light is coming on promptly having been canceled by the mechanic so more likely to be on now than off sadly. I would take the egr bypass route - just wanted to see if there were any gotchas - thanks
Not a problem at all. Yes bought sold traded and NCTd diesels with remaps, EGRs bypassed, CATs removed, ECUs remapped for either performance or economy, ran them around the Nurburgring, Mondello Park, up and down Alps, along the Cote d'Azure amongst all the Bugattis, Ferraris and McLarens - had great fun. Yes, and if you can get a cheap OBD2 code-reader, I'd recommend it.
