I'm considering doing a second job to help raise a house deposit and once gained to pay off the mortgage as soon as possible.

I'm a 35 year old guy in good health. I work in a office during the day 9-5 and earn a reasonable 40k salary, but as a single person I can forget about getting a house unless its affordable housing which may involve years of waiting (I do intend to apply once my credit card debt is cleared..about one months time - finally!!) for a place in a location I really don't want.

I'm looking for something non to stressful that involves a bit of physical work. Probably 6 -11 five nights a week and Saturdays with Sundays off would be ideal, pretty much like being Uni again now that I think of it.

Anyone have suggestions? , I rather not come face to face with my workmates though on a night out, could be embarrising, so probably public facing jobs are not the best.

Are there warehouse, or other type roles available on these limited hours? , looking on nixer.com most of these type of roles seem to be advertised for full time staff rather than evening staff.

Thanks for any advice!

I'm in the same situation as you though I don't earn nearly enough.

Would you consider taxi driving maybe? Just a suggestion

Takeaway delivery man, I am serious you can earn over 120E on a good night I use to do this a few yrs back when I was not married, but know guys who do it, tue might not be as good, but if you do at least 1 w/e night along with 2 mid week in busy take away you could make around 200 E plus also free meal, place I worked had tv you could watch while waiting , I did it 10 yrs back while working full time for the richest man in the world on a friday could make up to 90Punts 6-12pm not bad, I have no airs or graces but might not be for you

Ive seen ads before in one of the local newspapers, (Northside people, maybe) that were looking for part time workers. Call centre.
Had a quick look through this one but cant find any info on vacancies so Im not sure if they're still hiring but they're ad appears in almost every issue.

Great suggestions, hmm the delivery boy stuff..how is that paid? , is it cash in hand ?
The part time taxi role, had half thought of that, must look into getting a PSV license, definately worth researching.
