ETF Tax Query

Hi all,

Does anyone know is there a reinvestment period allowed whereby tax payment/declaration is not required?

As example,

If for example my 10k invested in an ETF has now grown to 11k and i sell in week 1, am i entitled in week 3 to reinvest my 11k or am i subject to 41% tax on the earnings?

In summary, am i tax exempt for any period of time to allow for reinvestment of total earnings.
