I switched to KBC this year to include a small renovation (equity release).
Some structural issues were discovered during the renovation which led to a home improvement loan being taken out.
These amounts have all been approved using invoices and builders quotations.
Were I to switch in the future, would it be possible to envelop any remaining loan amounts into the mortgage to avail of lower repayments?

Mortgage 340k including renovation 2.3%
HI loan 35k 5.1%
Has anyone any experience?
