Hi All,
I am currently working full time (earning net income of eur2400 p.m). My husband in on Illness Benefit (eur195 p.w). I am due to start maternity leave soon for 6 months (my employer does not top up my salary), and we are going to find it extremely difficult to keep up with our mortgage payments. I have a 2 year old child also.
My question is: Will I be entitled to Mortgage Interest Supplement for the 6 or 7 months I will be on maternity leave? My monthly mortgage is eur980 (of which about eur700 is interest!) I have looked at the forms, but as I am currently still working, I would have to put my monthly income in there, rather than whatever payment I get from Maternity benefit. Would I have to wait until I am actually on maternity benefit to apply?
I would appreciate any advise/info!!!!
