I am appealing and invalidity persion decision as i was turned down,in the mean time i have being claiming jobseekers benfit which was all grand.
my local SW office is changing to Electronic signing from next week as I got a letter in the post to say this.

It says on the letter that when i sign on that i must accept the declaration that is on the letter
Job seekers Declaration
'I declare that since I last signed I was unemployed, available for work, fit for work and genuinely seeking work but unable to find work'

it goes on to say if my circumstances have changed with spouse/civil have not changes since I last signed

I understand that i could be prosecuted for making a false declaration or withholding infomation'

I went in to the SW office to day to ask them what i should do i am not looking for work as i am unfit to work but if i sign the declaration and say that i am what happend then.
they had not a clue what i was sapose to do in the Sw so i dont no weather so sign on next week or not

Should you not be claiming Illness Benefit as you are unfit for work?

DSP can't pay you Invalidity Pension if you are on Jobseekers Benefit.

i was on Illness Benefit for two yrs i applied for Invalidity Pension after the two yrs where up and got it,they took it if off me in oct 2012 saying the guidelines had changed and that they where stoping my payment hence the appeal.
i have a feeling i have opened a can of worms and maybe should have saiid nothing

There are many schemes that allow JSA signing whilst appealing but the obvious JSA conditions do not apply. Many SW local offices are unaware of this and on how these people should be dealt with.

I would just sign regardless.
