I'm in a similar position,
I want to go back to petrol Manual without so much tech and screens that are not good to use and distracting, the missus is always getting on to me using the screen in the car but I got no choice, it's infuriating.
Anyway, with this, range and recharge times when using public chargers, broken chargers, queues you can get caught out very badly with the family on a long trip.
I can't find a dealer who will take in electric car as trade in, this is my 3rd EV never saw it this bad, depreciation was always bad but it's a lot worse now.
VW will take it but will only offer me 20 odd K. It cost 41 K new. Never again ! I'm going back to smaller petrol cars I hate those SUV yokes, don't know anyone drives them.
