Hi All, going to Edinburgh for the Irish Bank Holiday weekend, 23 - 26th October, looking for some advice on what to see and do, amd some recommendations for some really good places to eat - any advice?
Back from trip to Edinburgh. Stayed in the 'Edinburgh Pearl Apts' and they were very comfortable. They were quoted at 300 stg per night (4 bedroom apt) but we got it for 200 euro for the 2 nights. Great value.
But if you want somewhere fantastic to eat and you like good food, go to 'The Kitchin" in Leith. Fantastic. Bus stops practically outside it, ask for stop on 'Commercial Street' !!!! and the bus drivers are so helpfull. You can get a day ticket for 3 stg, great value.
