""The Blue Jersey is an unique, inclusive brand, uniting Dublin's dense expanse, blurring the difference in class and possession which became so pointedly manifest during the delusional days of the Celtic Tiger,""
Quite possible Leinster Rugby were wearing blue before the GAA started doing so anyway. I presume this article has nothing at all to do with one of the Dublin back room team joining Leinster !!
They win one All Ireland in 20 odd years and get carried away with their importance
Wonder what Wicklow make of it?, their colours are far closer to Leinster rugby then the Dubs
There was a continuity bit on Today FM maybe last month or so, and it was highlighting the various sporting highlights of the year, and it used the term "and what was an amazing (or incredible, can remember) year in GAA".
Why was it amazing? Cos Dublin won something? Why was the previous year not amazing, or the year before that? For me, this year was no more amazing or exciting than any other.
Is green not the traditional provincial colour for Leinster?
Amazing how Dublin can't be allowed to enjoy one year of being All Ireland champions.
