Hi,

Does anyone know is it possible to purchase your 12 months prescriptions in one go and avail of the drug refund scheme? So if tablets cost 20 euro a month, can i fulfill the prescription for 12 months in one go and pay the maximum of 124 euro as opposed to the 240 euro. Thanks!
 
Some doctors might be flexible with the prescriptions for certain medications.
Over 10 years ago, I travelled to a country requiring daily malaria medication for 2 months and my doctor wrote out double the dose on the prescription to make it appear as a single month's prescription, allowing me to be partially covered by the scheme.
