Did anyone hear the mother of a disabled child on the Marian Finucane show this morning ?
She spoke eloquently about the struggle in bringing up a disabled child in the State. Prisoners are now to be further molly coddled by giving them clean needles to help them shoot up more easily, and some smug ambulance chaser was on the Late Late show last week crowing about the compo he was going to get for the poor lambs in Mountjoy who have to slop out each morning, bless them.
There was an ex-con in the audience who said that prisoners there can order sirloin steak each night, if that want it ???
What is wrong with the compo culture that we’ve created when we treat the carers of disabled people with far far less respect than a load of junkie criminals ?
