If what is being provided by the private sector was being provided by the public sector you wouldn't tolerate it. Too bureaucratic, too much red-tape, too many plans etc..but because its the private sector its called 'consumer choice'.
Yes, they are excellent. They were developed by private companies and a private company installed the infrastructure at the bus stops which displays the arrival times of the next buses.
