Currencyfair problems

I have had so many issues lately with CurrencyFair. I have received an email confirming my funds are in CurrencyFair but I have not set up the transfer (I had) and was told to follow steps to set up transfer. I duly cancelled the transaction I had set up and set up a new one and several days later still nothing. Numerous emails, no replies. Won't answer their phones. This has resulted in me having to pay a late fee on one outstanding bill and having to borrow money. Absolute joke of a platform. Would advise anyone not to use it.

I logged into my currencyfair account just to see was it all up and running, there was a popup saying it is very important to set up a transfer in transaction within currencyfair account first before transferring any money from your bank to currencyfair. Maybe this is the root of all the problems, once you do this in correct order well then everything should be good, maybe they have cut costs due to reduced transactions and just have a skeleton staff to deal with problems.

I successfully transferred money using currencyfair in last few days. A few things to be aware of, currencyfair changed its euro bank account, its now an account in Germany not the original irish bank account so this needs to be updated on your personal bank account payees section. Secondly you need to login to currencyfair and create a transfer in function first then go to your bank account and transfer the money to currencyfair, the exchange and transfer will happen quickly once these steps are followed

I used Currencyfair for some years now to change Hungarian Forints into €. Without any knowledge of changes? I was under the impression that a transaction of +- 10.000 € was taken place. Appearently not. After a lot of mails, tried to call as well...( Nobody there) I went to my local bank to find out that CF bank account with Unicreditbank was closed. That's why my 3 attempts were bounced. I cannot rely on such unprofessional behaviour. I took me almost 1 1/2 week to come to the conclusion that they don't want me as a customer anymore

Yes alot of the bank accounts for currencyfair have changed, therefore you need to check the bank account on currencyfair first and change that bank account on your payee section on your own bank account. Otherwise you will be sending money to a now defunct bank account.
