when i rang to see about my credit union loan application they informed my that it was down for interview. has anyone had to do an interview and why do they have one?? im nervous and i dont know why!
There may be a number of reasons for the interview: it's your first loan, or you're borrowing quite a bit, or you haven't been in your current job too long.
I was interviewed for a loan a number of years ago, and the loan officer simply ran through the application form and asked for payslips and bank statements. There's no need to be nervous - just bring along whatever is asked for and it should be fine.
