Hi i have a strange problem with creaking bathroom tiles just in front of shower tray. Recently i noticed after having a hot shower when i step on the floor just outside the shower the floor creeks .leave for half an hour and step on floor the creaking noise is gone. but if i were to run hot water on the shower tray the creaking starts again ,if i run cold water on the shower tray there is no creaking .I was just wandering if you had any ideas on this or did you ever had this problem I would like some feedback.my own theory is the hot water is heating up the shower tray causes the wooden subfloor underneath to expand and contract.
