Cost of Block Garage

I'm thinking of building a garage which in time may be used as a granny flat or play school. Initially I just want it built and air tight with flexibility to change, what's involved and cost. Size is 6m by 10m or thereabouts, includes second story loft space for office, storage. No access issues, it's near garden boundary which is woodland area and the total site including our house is .7 acre.

You're effectively looking at close to small house build costs there, obviously you can cut a lot of the finish costs for a garage, but at 60sqm you will still need to go through the planning process with all the overheads involved there. If you want to change use to a granny flat down the line, you'll need to either get planning for that use now, or face a fresh planning application for that use when the time comes.
