Connect to a wireless network and wireless projector at the same time?

Hi,

Is it possible to connect to a wireless network and a wireless projector from a laptop at the same time?

Or, do you need two separate network cards on the laptop?

If the wireless projector is using WiFi, then it should be possible without an extra card on the laptop. You'd just need to make sure that laptop, the router and the projector all had compatible TCP/IP settings (i.e. address/subnet). Watch out for any firewall issues.

I didn't know there was such a thing as a wireless projector until now! How does it work? Is there special software on the laptop?
 
There is special software to connect the laptop to the projector.

It's a Panasonic wireless projector.
