It is possible to get similar charges (e.g. just a c. 1% annual management charge and nothing else) on unit linked managed or index tracking funds from other providers - yes. Most likely through a discount/execution only broker. There are serveral existing threads discussing this already if I'm not mistaken. Have you checked the key posts?
