Commodity investment

Can anyone offer advice on how to invest in commodities through an Irish based Company? Have tried Goodbodys, Sharewatch, Fexco etc? They only allow you to purchase shares on the Irish, English or American stock exchanges. When googled a Danish bank called Saxo comes up. Is this an area the small trader can get in to or can you only get exposure to this asset class by buying shares in companies who operate in and around commodities? Any useful leads would be greatly apprciated!

Delta Index offers a limited number of commodities but may be a start depending on what you are interested in. I dunno what other spread betting companies have to offer as delta index is the only one i have used.

Spread betting is a risky form of investment / gambling but may be worth a look.
