Clifden Road Ballyfermot

says have a laugh who has over 1500 posts!! Least were in the one thread :)

I don't think they are loose! Never checked to be honest!! But ur right anything they fix they do is half arsed eg the hole in my wall!! My solicitor said he'll draw down the money last thing he said some solicitors draw down the money early and earn interest on it while it's in there account!! Wagons!

Did u get on to yvonne? Maybe she can make them do more?!

Who the hell nicks letter boxes????

Don't worry needalaugh this day 2 weeks it's the big day!!!

I know, i checked their profile after my last post ha!!!
Oh thats interesting about them earning interest on it, isn't it! He says he was onto the bank yesterday but they couldn't actually do anything because he is misisng some stuff - might try hold him off for a week or two i think! I emailed Yvonne but i think she finished early today cuz i rang too at about 4ish and she was gone... See what she says on monday bout it...

I know!! Probably the people they bought them off nicked them back so they can sell them again to them ha!!!

your with ebs aswell aren't u? Tell him not to draw down the money untill after the 7th otherwise you have to pay the morgtage on the 7th December!! Our solicitor said he'll wait untill monday the 8th and we'll close on the Friday!! This day 2 weeks it's mad!

Wouldn't but it past them to make a few quid! I wonder if they'll manage to get what they say they'll do by the time we close

yeah its ebs - solicitor is closing up for christmas on the 17th and he reckons it'll be then when we get the keys...?? I'm confused because he said he will have the contracts back with the council on monday morning - Yvonne said if they're back by monday, then it'll possibly be the week of the 8th (which is when ur gettin them!)

Oh I don't know throughout the whole thing we've all been told different things!! Your prob going to get them that week to because your solicitor is going to draw down the money sooner than ours, that's why we won't get the keys untill that week because he's not getting the money untill the Monday (just so we won't have to pay untill jan!!) I'm sure if ours got the money sooner we'd prob get the keys the week before that!!

Hey! Heard back from Yvonne regarding the snag list that they apparently completed! Basically said its nothing to do with DCC and its down to the builders - funnily enough, the builders said it down to DCC! Why am i not surprised with that!! She's gonna check with the builders anyway regarding the banisters being loose.... Oh and they won't be putting tiles on the bathroom floor either - the builders told me that they were in talks with DCC about that but Yvonne says that there are no talks going on about it - i'd be fighting a losing battle if i were to argue it because they both just blame each other - typical!

Hiya,

I got a mail from Yvonne, saying that any snag issues are between myself and the builder so ive to chase them on that, but kevin still hasnt got back to 2 emails ive sent him and i even cc'd a general email address so someone has seen them! Yvonne did say that there has been an agreement regarding the exterior painting, and DCC will take care of that she said it will be done pretty soon, so fingers crossed it will be! Just waiting on a reply to see if the contracts have been sent for sealing last week! c are we on track for closing the 12th Dec!

I have referred the snag with the banister to the manager of the procurement section. I would consider this to be a serious snag as would he so he is going to contact Kevin Kelly re same. And then Tom O Neill who would be over Kevin should he get no joy with them.

I'll keep in touch re this

Thanks

This was Yvonne's latest response to the banisters.... I'm not sure how long this is all gonna take though so i am concerned....

She has received our contract and said they are being sent for sealing this week... Still waiting on a response from the mortgage broker regarding the Building/Contents Insurance and Life Assurance because the solicitor said the bank is waiting on it!

Wonder if they were serious when they said if the contract was back yesterday then we could possibly have the keys next week!!!

Hiya,

Got sick of waiting, so rang Kevin from Moston, he told me to get onto Jay that he is up on site! rang him, the builders/security have sent down the keys to DCC (because were closing the sale) so he has no access to the house!!!!! (convenient)

He said the roofer is coming up today or tomorrow to fix the slates and that he'll leave the attic door with security, we've to collect it when were moving in! so i take it nothing else is getting fixed in the house since he hasnt got access! I wonder was this an elaborate plan to avoid doing anything else! hahaha, this stage i dont care!

Yvonne said our contracts were sent for sealing last week, wonder if they requested the keys to be sent down to them?

Keep on at them about the banisters, is it the main one at the start of the staircase or the handrail? annoy them everyday so they'll sort it out ASAP!

Oh that is very convenient alright!! But in a sense its a good thing cuz at least if they don't have the keys, then its all moving in the right direction!! Any idea yet when you'll get the keys? You think maybe it'll be next week?

We have everything ready (insurance, life policies, builders homebond) the bank has issued the cheque requisition, but our solicitor isnt going to drawdown untill the 8th, he said we'll be collecting the keys on the 12th. He said it takes a few days, because he has to run legal searches on the land and stuff (dont really know, went over my head!)

If your still waiting on your policies i'd ring EBS to give you a quote, they get everything done over the phone and they send you out the paper work to sign, they go through Irish Life, get things moving as quick as you can, they ask you a million and one questions, height weight! everything!

The mortgage broker is sorting all that stuff out for us - hopefully i'll hear from him this week about it... Not much more we can do i suppose other than wait....!!!

Hey, have you applied for your mortgage interest relief yet? Just wondering when i should.....

No not yet, don't think you can apply for it just yet because they ask for your morgtage account number and don't think we'll find that out untill we actually get the money, you can apply on line it just depends how long it takes revenue to process the application, but we get it back dated so we'll get a refund on our 1st and 2nd payment (if it takes that long) maybe if u ask your broker when pol normally apply, let us know what he says u don't have a broker I just went direct, prob should have got one would of saved a lot of running around

I Was speaking to our solicitor he said he received new title documents today (what ever they are!) and he said it was a good sign if DCC have the keys it means there gettin ready to close! He said were on track to close the 12th, it's mad that's only next week!!

would your mortgage account number not be the bank account number your paying your mortgage out of?? because they lodge the money into your account....i'll email him now and let u know tomorrow anyway!

thats great, god yeah, its like NEXT FRIDAY.....!!!!!

Just checked the revenue site and it says:

When should I apply for TRS?
You should complete the TRS1P form as soon as you have commenced repayments on your loan.
However, you should re-apply to Revenue in certain circumstances i.e. if you take out a top-up mortgage on your main residence, if you transfer/switch lender, if you re-mortgage with the same lender or if you take out a mortgage in respect of your separated/divorced spouse and/or dependant relative. If any of these circumstances occur, you should apply as soon as possible

so we make our application when we make the 1st repayment? There not joking when they say this is one of the most stressfull times of your life!?

GOOD NEWS ON A HORRIBLE MORNING!

Most economists expect the ECB to stick with a decrease of 0.50 percentage points from the rate's current level of 3.25%.
But with recession looming over the 15-nation eurozone economy and a rapid decrease in inflation, some experts said the bank might make a dramatic gesture with an unprecedented cut of 0.75% or even more.

Morgtage will be reduced again! (if the bank passes it on that is!)
