Clearing Google History

I know that this is a very stupid question but how do i clear the history of google searches from my PC.

Hi
go to 'TOOLS' at the top of your page, then 'CLEAR PRIVATE DATA': this will delete the history for you.
If you go to 'OPTIONS', also under 'TOOLS', that'll allow you to set your personal choices up e.g. how long do you want to store the history for etc
