I have an relative who worked for a few years for a local authority in the late 70s.
He is past pensionable age but has never gone about claiming the pension and hadn't even considered it until I reminded him.
Three questions:
He is past pensionable age but has never gone about claiming the pension and hadn't even considered it until I reminded him.
Three questions:
- Should he approach NSSO/Peoplepoint or the local authority itself?
- Can it be backdated to his 60th birthday?
- What proof of identity is likely to be needed?
