CIMA - Strategic Level / Practical Experience

Hi all

In a moment of madness, I decided to take advantage of the exemptions I carry with CIMA and registered with them as a student to embark on the strategic level. I intend to enrol in BPP homestudy courses for the 3 papers to try to get up to speed for the November exams.

I'm wondering about the practical experience element of the overall qualification. It's very detailed and a bit daunting and as I've no colleagues to ask, I wondered if someone here might have some knowledge of what way to approach the application to have it accepted first time.

I've looked online for CIMA specific forums but nothing doing yet.

Try amicpot.com, this was useful for the case study exams in that it has a forum and tips - at the time I used it they also had a practical experience section with layouts to submit etc, not sure what it is like now though.

Thanks for that erw fan. They have emailed me the practical experience guide and it looks really helpful. Just what I was after.

The practical experience thing is more annoying than difficult. Some creative writing and yuo'll be able to tie in your work experience with their requirements quite easily. Coupled with that their interview was fairly laid back. The hard part is getting the exams, once thats done the rest should be a formality.
