Choice - Alloys or Sunroof?

I'm looking at two used cars.
'02 Ford Focus h/b

One has a sunroof but no alloys.
The other has alloys but no sunroof.

Apart from that the specs are identical and so are the asking prices so I'm playing them off each other.

I can't decide though......Alloys or Sunroof?

Any comments?

Sunroof - you can add the alloys at a later date if you want but not visa versa.

The head room is probably a little less in the car with the sun roof. If you're on the tall side you might want to check the fit first.

Personally I'm not a fan of sunroofs.

A/c rocks, but sunroofs only redistribute warm air. Both use additional fuel.

Some 02 Focus models will have a/c fitted.

I have an 04 Laguna - the whole sunroof carriage had to be removed and replaced!

NOTHING is reliable these days. Personally I would go with the alloys. If the sunroof ever leaked you'd find it next or near impossible to sell on!

Modern sunroofs are reliable.

The important thing is to ensure the drain holes are clear, otherwise water will lodge, with potentially catastrophic effects.

A/c is better however :D

Ok...alloys won the day....

I am now the proud owner of a '02 Ford Focus (my first ever car).

Thanks for all the advice!
