Someone in your locality is obviously feeding these guys or leaving bins/rubbish out where it is accessible for them to get food.
Cats will not hang around in the wild unless it benefits their diet , remember some of these could also be house cats.
But out of this at least you will not have any mice or rats in your garden. By the way dogs do not solve the cat problem , cats usually love harassing dogs in back gardens by handing around where they cannot be got at thus your dog and neighbours go mad with barking.
