I've been looking at multi-fuel stoves and have noticed that some manufacturers emphasise that their stoves are entirely made of cast iron while other manufactures say, usually less explicitly, that while the other parts of the stove are cast-iron, steel is used for the body of the stove.
I would like to know if the use of steel for the body has any bearing on the efficiency/effectiveness of the stove or is it better to stick with all cast iron.
Thanks
