In Supervalu anyway, one voucher is no problem but try to scan a second voucher assistance is called for, not sure if its the same with all their self service tills.

Once you've spent enough to cover the vouchers of course you should be able to cash in more than 1 voucher surely, any work arounds.

Don't shop in SuperValu but haven't had that problem elsewhere - Lidl, Tesco, Dunnes. Curiously, in Lidl you scan the voucher like regular groceries while with the others you only scan them at payment time.

Go to a regular checkout rather than the self-service one?

Is there a requirement to press the "redeem voucher" button for each voucher. I think that's how Tesco do it.

If it is an issue in SV, it should be a very simple software fix by permitting multiple vouchers or even have a set number. The problem is getting that request to someone who can make that change. (which would take a minute or two)

Same here, I just bought my stuff in Supervalu, and realised I forgot to use the two redeem vouchers I had. The staff member said to go to the sweet/cigerette counter and they gave me the cash.

In case it's of use to anybody else, Lidl recently changed their policy and now accept deposit return vouchers from any of their stores in any other of their stores. I'm not sure if other chains also do this? And I presume that a voucher from, say, Lidl, can't be redeemed in, say, Tesco?
