Hi

Not even sure if i can post this question but here goes....

Anyone used cash and carry kitchens for their kitchen and what were your experiences of their range, designs, quality of kitchens, durability of kitchens, fitting service, quality of workmanship after sales services etc

PM me if that more appropriate way to give feedback

Thanks

About five years ago I bought from them. Good quality and well priced. Fitted it myself. It's as good as the day it was fitted. Very satisfied.

Did you have any problems fitting them yourself or is it a case of taking your time doing it?

Had a disastrous experience with them. They gave a date for delivery and dictated that existing kitchen needed to be all stripped down for fitting
We got rid of the kitchen for the day of delivery - no kitchen arrived for another 3 weeks. We had a 4month old at the time - an awful experience.
Also one of the counters was wrong - it should have been double sided (it was for a 'breakfast-bar' type bit of the kitchen), instead a one sided counter was given - the guy in C&C basically told me to get stuffed. had to source another counter myself and get it fitted
The tradesman they recommended to install was a cowboy. The kitchen was thrown together (misaligned doors, handles etc), then he went missing with the last bit of the kitchen left to be done - we had to get someone else to do it.
He charged us for plumbing the sink - this subsequently leaked and we had to get it all redone.

The C&C I dealt with was on the Long Mile Road - perhaps the others are not as bad, but I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.
