Hi, I am unable to get the tenants when they are in the house. Can I send the notice of rent increase by post / or drop it through the letterbox myself?
Thanks in advance for any help,
T
Thanks for the reply, but in the RTB website, it does not go into detail, it just says "serve the Notice of Rent Review on the tenant at least 90 days before the rent is to have effect);", it doesn't say can the rent review be served by post or do you have to do it in person?
I always got my notices of rent increase in the post, so I can't see why not. Just go into the post office and have them certify it so there is evidence it was sent.Hi, I am unable to get the tenants when they are in the house. Agreed - I add an extra 10 days myself so no one can argue.Be careful drafting the notice and calculating the ... notice period
